Privacy Policy

• ▌Account data: name, email, hashed password.
• ▌Generation data: the niche, topic, tone, and titles you submit, plus the AI-generated output we return. We store this so you can access your history.
• ▌Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details — only a transaction ID and the plan you purchased.
• ▌Usage data: timestamps, plan, credit usage, and basic logs for debugging and abuse prevention.
• ▌Technical data: browser type, IP address (for rate limiting and security only).

• ▌To provide the Service (generate scripts, thumbnails, history).
• ▌To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• ▌To improve product performance and prevent abuse.
• ▌To send transactional emails (receipts, account notices). We do not send marketing emails without your consent.

To deliver the Service we share strictly necessary data with the following processors:

• ▌Anthropic — your input prompts are sent to Claude to generate text output.
• ▌Google (Gemini) — your title/style input is sent to generate thumbnail images.
• ▌Stripe — payment processing only. Subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
• ▌MongoDB (database hosting) — stores your account and generation history.

Each provider is bound by its own privacy and security commitments. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Generation history is retained until you delete it or close your account. Payment records are retained as required by tax and accounting law (typically 7 years).

Depending on where you live (e.g., EU/EEA, UK, California), you may have the right to:

• ▌Access the personal data we hold about you.
• ▌Correct or delete your data.
• ▌Export your data in a portable format.
• ▌Object to or restrict certain processing.
• ▌Withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@reelmint.app. We respond within 30 days.

ReelMint uses local storage to keep you signed in (we store your auth token in your browser's localStorage). We do not use third-party advertising cookies or trackers.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including TLS in transit, bcrypt password hashing, and access controls. No system is 100% secure; please use a strong unique password.

ReelMint is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided data to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own (e.g., where our infrastructure or AI providers operate). Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app banner.
